A superb singer dies: ROBERTO GOYENECHE. Nicknamed El Polaco (the Polish). He recorder about 350 themes of great “tanguedad”, that is with a wonderful mix of accents, silences, drags and whispers. He stretched to its limits and very successfully the phrasing created by Carlos Gardel. Most of his songs are just for listening. He did not interpret much that is appropriate for dancing, with the exception of his beginning with Horacio Salgán (1952-1956).
