VICENTE GRECO dies. Bandoneonist, composer and conductor. One of the “fathers” of tango. He was the one who introduced the bandoneon. In addition he set up the basic lineup of the “orquesta típica”: two bandoneons, two violins, one piano and one flute. Francisco Canaro replaced the flute with the bass. From that sextet in the 1940’s the orchestra with ten or twelve musician was started. Let’s now listen to a great tango by Greco.
