CASIMIRO AIN dies. He danced during the celebrations for the hundredth anniversary of Argentina. He was the first one to achieve world fame dancing tango. It is certain that he moved among Buenos Aires, Paris and New York. It is uncertain though whether he really danced in 1924 in front of Pius XI to stop the tango’s condemnation from the Vatican. To pay him tribute, let’s listen to this version “milonguera” of the most universal of tangos.
