On this date Carlos Di Sarli records the first of his three versions of EL ONCE. Osvaldo Fresedo, his author, titled it “EL 11” (Let’s have fun!). This is because this tango made its debut in the eleventh and last ball for the newly graduating doctors. Each year at these events a conductor was invited to present a new work. The first one had been Francisco Canaro who brought MATASANOS.
