ALBERTO ACUÑA dies. Singer, guitarist and composer. In the 20’s he was part of the duo RUIZ-ACUÑA who rivaled in popularity with another duo: Gardel-Razzano. Afterwards, as we know, the only recognized “number one” in tango came out from the latter. Acuña usually played music with a rural theme, as it is the case in the vals that we are listening to here.
