DOMINGO SANTA CRUZ dies. Bandoneonist and composer. His last name is linked to a tango legend: his father (José) could have been the one who introduced the bandoneon into Argentina. When DOMINGO SANTA CRUZ was on his deathbed in a hospital, several tango artists paid him homage by playing for free on the radio for eight days. His most famous tango is the one we are listening to now, composed in 1904.
