ROBERTO GUISADO dies. Remarkable violinist. He was a member of the great orchestra of Carlos Di Sarli. He remained with this conductor for more than thirty years as first violin. In the three versions of EL AMANECER (’42, ’51, ’54) he is the one who plays with the violin to imitate the singing of the benteveo bird (a typical bird of Argentina, also called bicho feo, i.e. ugly critter). As a composer he did not shine, but he did with the “tanguedad” of his violin.
