JOSÉ GONZALEZ CASTILLO is born. Poet and playwright. In the beginning tango lyrics were exaggeratedly mischievous and sassy. This aspect started to change before the 1920s when the lyrics started to be more like small theater works. The intellectual we are honoring today was a pioneer in achieving this phenomenon. Here is one of his works together with his son Cátulo.
