JORGE OMAR (Juan Manuel Ormaechea) dies. Singer of good diction and delicate phrasing, he was one of the most famous singers of the 30s. The best period of his career was with Francisco Lomuto with whom, starting in 1935, in eight years made 136 recordings. At that time Lomuto (with the Victor label) and Francisco Canaro (Odeón) were at the top of the record market.
