Calendario Milonguero

Date in which Juan D’ Arienzo and Hector Mauré recorded DIME MI AMOR. At the end of  the 1950’s, the period of the greatest international fame of the Rey del compás (King of the Beat), the Emperor of Japan invited him to perform in Tokyo, offering him a generous cachet. D’ Arienzo refused;  the “maestro” was terrified of flying. The farthest he travel abroad was his visit to Uruguay.
